I’m going to NYLC (National Young Leaders Conference) in Washington DC this year, and need some help paying the $2000+ fees (plus airfare). Any tips on how to raise the cash?
(I’m able to pay half of it with money I already have, so it doesn’t have to be too big of a money maker)

Instead of focusing on what the candidates say or past performance, I want to base my vote on who gave what and how much to the presidents. Say if a candidate accepted money from a foreign goverment for fund raising, then I would not want to vote for such a person. If the candidate says they are for environment, and it turns out the biggest campaign donor was an oil company, I will not vote for that candidate. Things like that. So question is how do I find out and figure out the integrity of said donors?

I just need some tips for fund raising

8 million pounds has been spent on building a new 90 bedroom old peoples home but there is no more money left to put furniture, lighting, pictures & carpets into the the home so we need to do alot of fund raising any ideas.

We have a small community with fund raisers for the PTA/PTO, Band, Orchestra, Football, Cheerleaders, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and all the Athletic Association sports. We need to raise money for the class of 2010. Everyone is sick of magazines, candy, cookies, hoggies, and food from the market as well as calandars and lottery tickets…got any suggestions for fund raising other than these? Thanks.

It is my best friend’s 18th birthday in 6 weeks, and of course she wants to have a party and invite her friends and family. However her mum is a single parent trying to raise two kids (with no dad to pay child support) and so my friend doesn’t want to create any financial strain for her mum. She already has a job and is working as many shifts as she can and saves as much money as possible, but it’s still not a lot. I really want to help her out, so does anyone have any fund-raising tips so I can help her out? I would really love to give my friend the party she deserves. Thank you!
