our hockey club has just be promoted and bacause we are such a small club we find getting funding and sponsorship difficult, so we thought about trying to raise money for new kit and to help our younger players with the subs and equiptment. I haven’t got a clue where to start and wondered if anyone has any advise that could help us get started.

Canada’s new election fund raising laws state that only $1000 can be given to a political party. No more. This is to try to discourage special interest groups. This law was brought in by the new conservative government of Canada last year. Would this help the US and with the lobbying and special interest groups.

My close friends has been taking care of ill cats. One gets a shot every 4 weeks. It is all costly, so I was wondering if I can put up a can with the cats pictures and try to help raise a little to pay for their vet bills.

It’s at a stadium. All of the fund raising is done prior to the event. Mostly at the workplace, although some of our events will be off site. Does this answer?

A group of grade 11 students from South Africa want to go to the St Andrew’s Model United Nations (SAIMUN) conference in Dublin, Ireland next year in March. However, we need help in terms of funding. Its about $11000 for the 7 seven students. Flight and accomodation is included.
